Day 68 - Wednesday 18th July

I visited the USA a few weeks ago and took some fantastic shots which I will add to my Blog in the next few days. I am writing this at lunchtime today as I will be on the phones and e.mailing potential sponsors this afternoon and tonight. I am determined to raise as much as possible, but also give the sponsors value by publicising this site once the fundraising of this project has ended next month. I think that if I can show how much we have all achieved, then this will highlight the project plus Fairtrade and Environmental issues and the various companies websites that are shown on my project homepage. Because I then aim to show what happens to the funds raised and make a film about this too and then hopefully get it shown for all to see, this again will highlight Fairtrade and the connection with the Environment. Day 67 - Tuesday 17th July

I can’t believe how quickly time flys by, not long to go until the end of the project. I have had some more success today, however, before these new sites go onto the home page I need to get confirmation of their particular requirements, and await payment. Earlier in this Blog I have said exactly where the funds will go. 50% of anything I raise from this fantastic project will go to charity, and be divided between Find Your Feet, a charity that provides fresh drinking water and sanitation to developing countries, such as those who produce some Fairtrade Products, some funds will go to the Fairtrade organisation here in the UK and USA, as it has become clear that many of the sponsors are members of these worthwhile organisations. They inturn help develop the Fairtrade ideals. The remaining funds will be used at a local level, to help me design and build an environmental eco friendly fairtrader store. I am filming this project, (go to Google, and search Millioneurosin90days for the latest film scenes) and will continue this. The film will also show how the funds are spent, including the new store, and the way the funds are used by the charities. I plan to finish the fundraising part of the project on Tuesday 21st August, so wish me luck.

Day 66 - Monday 16th July

The start of a new week, and have got off to a great start with some new sponsors joining. This project will end on Tuesday 21st August, the website will remain live long after that, as I then want to show how the money was spent, and record it on film to show you all. So lots to do will update my progress tomorrow.
